Our season opener takes us towards the north of the country to the beauty that Northumberland has to offer. A mixture of coastline and imposing castles along with moors and haunted castles, the area has so much to offer around every corner.

Based at the four Star Doxford Hall Hotel & Spa for four nights, on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis in a classic room, we have organised three different driving routes to explore, including two castle visits from the most imposing to the most haunted. Full access to the leisure facilities is also included but it is recommended to pre book any Spa treatments that you may wish to experience before your arrival.  

Suggested Itinerary:

Monday 13th March

Check in at the Doxford Hall Hotel & Spa from 15.00hrs, relax at the hotel and dine together as a group in the evening.

Tuesday 14th March

After a leisurely breakfast we have a suggested driving route taking in the beautiful scenery Northumberland has to offer. Tonight we dine as a group in the hotel.

Wednesday 15th March

Another breakfast to enjoy and it is on to visit the imposing Bamburgh Castle where we have arranged an MG parking area and entry in to the museum. We dine together as a group again tonight.

Thursday 16th March

Once you are finished at breakfast we have organised another suggested road run route which takes in a coffee & cake stop and guided tour of Chillingham Castle, one the UKs most haunted castles, along with more beautiful Northumberland scenery. Tonight we dine as a group in the hotel for the last time.

Friday 17th March

MG Northumberland comes to an end with one final breakfast to fuel you for the journey homewards. Check out to be completed by 11.00hrs

A new tour to the Isle of Man has been often talked about and 2023 is the year it is happening.

The Four Star Comis Hotel & Golf Resort is our base for four nights, on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis. There is an amazing mixture of stunning scenery, history and mechanical wonders that envelops the island. No matter if you are a wildlife, motor sport or history fan, the island has a huge amount to offer.

Suggested Itinerary:

Monday 17th July

Taking the afternoon ferry from Heysham to Isle of Man, once on the island it is a short drive to our base for the week, the four-star Comis Hotel & Golf Resort. Once checked in we have a group dinner arranged.

Tuesday 18th July

After breakfast, to start our first full day on the island and we have a suggested, relaxed, driving route to explore the sights and wonders of the south of the island. Dinner at the hotel is again included this evening.

Wednesday 19th July

Today we have a suggested route to take you to the north of the island with a visit to the impressive Isle Of Man Motor Museum at Jurby, with over 500 unique exhibits to view. Dinner is again included this evening.

Thursday 20th July

After a leisurely breakfast we have planned a relaxed drive around the famous TT route. At just over 37 miles this will take around an hour and a half, as against just under 17 minutes that the bikes cover the course in. Once back in Douglas the rest of the day can be spent exploring at your leisure. Once back at the hotel we have our last evening meal together.

Friday 21st July

A slightly earlier morning breakfast than we have been used to signal the morning ferry back to Heysham and the end of the tour.

The last tour of 2023 takes us to the popular destination of Cornwall. The rich heritage of the county with the different north and south coastlines, secluded moors and tails of smugglers aplenty we are back by popular demand.

Staying at the three-star Lanhydrock Hotel & Golf Club for four nights on a dinner bed & breakfast basis we have planned a visit to the world famous Lost Gardens of Heligan, Europe largest garden restoration project, along with two scenic routes taking famous landmarks of the county.

Suggested Itinerary:

Monday 11th September

Arrive at the Lanhydrock Hotel & Golf Club for a check in from 15.00hrs. Dinner is included tonight in the dining room.

Tuesday 12th September

After a Cornish breakfast we head to the softer south coast on a scenic route with opportunities to stop off at secluded coves such as Talland Bay, or park up and explore the quintessential fishing villages of Polperro or Looe. Dinner is again included tonight at the hotel.

Wednesday 13th September

Having had a relaxing Cornish breakfast it is off to the famous Lost gardens of Heligan. We have arranged entry and an MG parking area. The gardens have much to offer from the formal kitchen garden to the jungle allowing you to explore far and wide if you wish. It is back to the hotel for dinner tonight.

Thursday 14th September

We explore the north of Cornwall today with a scenic route taking in moors, beautiful countryside along with small rocky coves and villages. Fans of the TV series Doc Martin may recognize some of the scenery along the way! We return to the hotel for our last nights dinner.

Friday 15th September

The final Cornish breakfast brings the tour to a close as we start the homeward journey. Check out is to be completed by 10.00hrs
