As of today’s date Wednesday 25th March 2020, the MG Owners’ Club is strictly following UK Government advice throughout the ongoing COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. We are currently providing a full service to our membership Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm. We are doing this remotely by staff working from home. Please telephone or email us on 01954 231125 or email@example.com or ring 01954 234003 or mail firstname.lastname@example.org for technical advice if you have any queries. However we are unable to receive ANY visitors to Octagon House Club Shop for the purchase of parts and Club merchandise for the foreseeable future. MGOC Spares are fulfilling web and telephone orders on 01954 230928 and the Club Workshop is presently in continuing in operation for pre-booked work only, please do not attend our workshop if you want to discuss potential work on your MG but do call 01954 234001.
We have put in place plans for forthcoming and future events, trips and tours that involve both our staff and MGOC Members alike. Those Members that have booked various trips and events that are postponed have been contacted individually to advise them of the situation. We are aware that many of our local MGOC Area Groups have planned a large number of events throughout the Spring and Summer, which include scenic runs and attending static shows, also there are many third party organisations that had a full programme of large scale events planned. Practically all of these various events have been cancelled or postponed to later in the year. There are too many to list here but advice is to keep checking our website www.mgownersclub.co.uk and look at the Events calendar. Over the coming weeks and we will post updated information as it becomes available. One major postponement that we can advise on is that the Le Mans 24 hour race will now be taking place on the 19th and 20th September.
As this is a rapidly changing situation please visit our website regularly for the latest information and you can stay in touch with the Club and other Members through our Facebook page or our Members’ forum. Please stay safe yourself and if you are able, please spare a thought for others, particularly our senior Members, friends, family and neighbours that you may be able to communicate with through social media during the impending isolation that will inevitably affect us all in the days to come.
