MGOC Practical Workshops – Classic & Modern MGs

At the MG Owners’ Club Workshop, Octagon House, 1 Over Road, Swavesey, Cambridge, CB24 4QZ

09.30am to 4.30pm

There will be 3 concurrent practical demonstrations:

 

  •     Classic two seater MGs 1955 onwards
  •      Modern two seater MGs 1995 – 2010
  •      Bodywork and Trim

 

For both Classic and Modern demonstrations the following topics will be covered:

 

  •       Annual service essentials
  •       Pre-MOT preparation
  •        Cooling system
  •        Electrical testing
  •         Fuel and ignition check
  •         Suspension and brakes

 

For bodywork and trim demonstrations the following topics will be covered:

 

  •       MGB GT screen and chrome trim replacement
  •       Seat strip to include foam and webbing replacement
  •       Carpet and trim replacement
  •        Paintwork and trim detailing
  •        Machine polishing bodywork
  •        Hood fitting
  •       Window mechanism overhaul
  •      MGB waistline trim replacement
